The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D Movie

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is not a remake but a 3D sequel to the 1974 original film: it picks up where the first film left off. The sequel is directed by John Luessenhop (who helmed Takers) and is starring Alexandra Daddario, Tania Raymonde, Sue Rock, Scott Eastwood, Bill Moseley, Gunnar Hansen, Trey Songz, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Shaun Sipos, Thom Barry, Paul Rae and Richard Riehle.

Plot:
"A young woman travels to Texas, along with her friends, to collect an inheritance; little does she know that an encounter with a chainsaw-wielding maniac is part of the reward."

Actor Gunnar Hansen who played the original Leatherface will make a cameo in the sequel. Here's what he said:

"It's a true sequel to the original. The opening of the movie is the last scene of the original movie. So it starts right at the beginning. In fact, they're using some of the footage of Leatherface, of me, dancing, at the beginning. They're using that footage as the opening shot, I think. I read the script, it looks pretty good. I can say that because I'm extremely critical of the sequels and the remakes. This one, you know, is not what I would have written, but I didn't write it."
